Dear Guests,

O.k., we hereby grant you permission to watch high school football on Friday night IF you promise to attend either Babylon A.D. or College this weekend. (Plan on being 17 if you see College; it is rated "R.")

"Pineapple Express" and "Mamma Mia" are gone as of Friday, and may they rest in peace. "Mamma Mia" had a great run, and if things get REALLY slow in late September, you may see it again.

Plenty of WATCHABLE movies this weekend; September is not noted for great movies, but the popcorn is hot, the drinks are cold and Tom will keep you entertained when you show up.

We will be having late shows on Sunday and matinees on Monday because of the Labor Day holiday. Your work day contracts with holidays--ours expands.  That's because we are the jokers in your deck, and we live to entertain.

See you at the movies.

Eric Gubelman

p.s. Speaking of jokers, I got my first Texas Hold 'Em lesson last week. Ouch. I was pleased to donate a modest sum to the festivities. If you get the Old Maid, that trumps everything, right?
